It's There!

Today I had another antenatal appointment and the midwife listened for the baby's heartbeat - she was trying all round the middle of my tummy and just kept picking up my heartbeat, so I told her that yesterday morning I got the impression that it was sitting on my bladder, so she tried in that region - and there it was!

The other news is that last Sabbath (at 15 weeks + 1 day), I felt the baby move for the first time! At first I wasn't sure, then I felt it a couple more times later in the day. In fact the 3rd time I was resting on the sofa and I felt some movement, so I poked my tummy in the same region, - a few seconds later - I got the same movement back, - so I poked again, - and it kept responding! I have felt the baby move a few times since then on most days. It is just incredible that there is a little life inside my womb and that it is separate and independent from me.
