- Dribbling (has been doing this uncontrollably since 8 weeks - he also has an amazingly powerful kick I think we may have an Italian footballer in training!)
- Chewing on his hands (again since 8 weeks though he only started really staring at them at 11 weeks and grabbing things to seriously play a few days ago (13 weeks)
- Really gnawing on any hard object within reach - previously he would only ever suck on fingers or hands that got too close to his mouth now he has started gnawing them
- Rosy flushed cheeks
- A very red little bottom last night - I put some cream on it and it has almost entirely cleared up now and doesn't seem to have caused him any distress - I will try double rinsing his nappies for a while
I gather that the first tooth doesn't appear usually till at least 6 months though RNG had his first at 4 months and I know that babies can be over a year old when the first tooth appears, however often the signs of teething start long before the first tooth shows itself - oh joy!
